Now we’re talking!

Transition Joshua Tree now has four official working groups! Many thanks to a seminal group called the Thrivers who created a March event that spawned these working groups.

Now, there are more ways to get involved with Transition Joshua Tree. Check out the links for meeting info. We hope you will consider attending a meeting or two to find the best group for you.

The newest group to join the Transition Joshua Tree community believes kids are it! Its mission is to connect Morongo Basin youth with Transition Joshua Tree activities.

Food Group

Our first group and one very dear to Transition Joshua Tree is the Food group. From Goodyear Gardens, to community compost piles, the Food Group makes it happen.

Heart and Soul Group

A big group with a lot of heartfelt soulfulness about our local community and the inner transitions we can make to bring greater inner peace and connectivity.

Creating a network in the high desert is the goal of this group, in order to create an increased sense of security and connection.
